Boo - AHSC #234

My card this week as Design Team Member for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Love to see you at this challenge...you have until Sunday, October 22nd to enter your project.  The design team reveal for this sketch will be on Wednesday, so be sure to stop by to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team and other entrant inspirations for this challenge.  And stop by every Monday for new sketches. Don't wait for the DT post to create your project...show us up with your artwork.

Using the inspiration from the Three Amigo's BlogHop Sketch Challenge #7 and combining it with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #234Another card using the "Cats and Bats" paper pack and a number of dies.  Seeing all the wonky stitched panels on my daughter's cards made me purchase them...and the rectangle dies were perfect for this sketch.  The four stitched panels are cut from various design papers and a PML card.

Halloween Scenery Die was a set of three different adorable Fall/Halloween dies from Crafting Desert Diva's and the Haunted House scenery was cut using design papers. However, only partial scenery fit on the front of the card and then the balance of the scene was used on the inside corner, with a strip of washi tape along border.  Scenery layered, and orange strips adhered inbetween the cuts of the haunted house windows.  Used wonky stitch on the bottom of the scene to match up with the orange panel and then adhered with 3D thin foam tape.

The ghost was in my stash the adhered with the regular 3D foam tape attached to the top of haunted house for more dimension.  Sentiment also from my stash and glued to the scene. Found a die cut of a orange spider web in my Halloween embellishments and adhered with foam tape.

How come it takes me so much time to post when I'm babysitting my GrandCat.  And how can you shoooo him off the desk...he just wants some attention.  Well, when he laid his head on the keyboard and I got a line of "lllllllllllllllllll's" I had enough...got up and he followed me into the kitchen for a treat and he was more than happy with that.  Thurman was a outdoor cat that worked his way into my son's home and heart, and ours too.
