It's Your Day - H2H March Wk 3

Use only card stock and NO patterned paper on your project.

Please join us this week and other challenges in March AND remember you have all month to create to be eligible for recognition of the Top 10 "Challenge Darling" ... and if you create for each challenge in the month for perfect attendance you will be recognized as an H2H Addict.  For additional inspiration ... hop on by to see all the DT members' and participant creations for this month and join us with your projects.

My choice for this challenge was the Stamp Set "Animal Balloons"...I've had this stamp set a long time and there were so many cards out with these animal balloons at the time that I put it away and while going through my stamps it popped out at me.  This card may look CAS; but it was just as timely as to fussy-cut and layer all the images because I had to cut each balloon anyway for the masking...but I'll have it for the next time.

Decided to have my background also be my usual layered dimensions, without layers...does that make sense?  Well, to me it meant a lot of masking with the bunch of animal balloon images giving it dimension.  The background was also stamped with masking of the focal point.  If you know my work, generally a lot of layering...however, couldn't go without and ended up layering the sentiment.

Using the same stamp set for the inside and again masking balloon images.

  2. This card is amazing! I too have that balloon animals stamps set, and have only used it once. I LOVE your cluster of creatures; well worth all the effort of making the masks. And the pair on the inside--brilliant! Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. Hi I'm not sure if you've linked up to the wrong challenge here as our HLS CAS challenge is die-cuts NOT blue. It's a superb card though and full of fun and cheery colours and brilliant masking.

    1. Sorry, I didn't see that it needed die-cuts, however, thank you for your nice comments. Do you want me to delete it?

Fabulous cards, ladies! Here's mine. Yes, even with a Misti I stink at real stamping but I tried. LOL Pretend that shadowed sentiment was intentional, please.
