Let's Hang Out - AHSC #173

My card this week as Design Team Member for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #173. Please check out the other Design inspirations, and join us at AHSC...you have until Sunday, August 21st to enter your project.

Had no idea what I wanted to do with this sketch, banners are not my favorite thing except for sentiments.  Again this week, I wanted to do something different and go out of the box; but still keep some resemblance to the sketch. Sooo many ideas were formed in my head but just didn't materialize...so went back to my drawing board and came up with a Halloween theme.

No fussy-cutting on this card; however a lot of Cricut cuts...sizes modified and double layered using black cardstock and some design paper.  Foam back on background paper for dimension and all other cuts were either glued or adhered using 3D Foam tape.

Used the additional die-cuts on the inside with a triangular strip of design paper along the corner and the right-hand side.

Also submitted to the following challenges:

All CTMH Products Unless Specified Otherwise
Design Paper
     Scaredy Cat
Cardstock
     Colonial White and Black
Die Cuts from Cricut Design Space
Spider and Web #M3A8E6 "Happy Hauntings"
Let's Hang Out #M3C7526 "Creepy Critters"
     Shapes "Circles"
Embellishments
     Opaques - Licorice Adhesive Gems

Very interesting approach to the sketch this week... but then again, a sketch is only a guide. The sentiment is perfect for the hanging spiders!

LOL! I LOVE that sentiment. Great way to use the Sketch, Sue... those patterned papers are perfection for a Hallowe'en themed card! You always do such interesting things on your inner card surfaces. WTG! Thx for sharing!
