My Project:  My project for this week was inspired by the Heart2Heart June 27, 2016 Challenge "3D Delights".  For the 4th I needed something for a candy favor and remembered that my friend had made a Twisted Box awhile ago (click here)...so I went to YouTube and chose to use France Martin's tutorial for the 12 x 12 card stock (click here)  For the box I used CTMH Colonial White and random stamped a variety of stamps from several stamp sets using the other two colors in the challenge.  Added a sentiment using a variety of stamps and fussy-cut both the circle and sentiment and adhered to the top of the box with a red twine.

Me and Color Dare: My daughter introduced me to my first sketch challenge and shortly after that I started looking for other challenges that interested me.  Not too sure how I found Color Dare but possibly looking at other bloggers that shared their projects with several other challenges.

Clicking along I found ColorMyHeart Color Dare...Wow, I can combine this with my sketch challenge.  And find a theme I want, just helps me design a project...I have my color, my sketch and my theme.

Color Dare has also helped me to put color combinations together that I wouldn't normally do; it helps me to create outside of the box...and that's fun.  Weekly I submitted something to Color Dare for more than a year, and my calling came to join Color Dare as a DT member...a little hesitant, yes...but knew I could do it.  I'm happy to say I'm in my second 6-month term with Color Dare and it satisfies me with sharing my creativity with others and your sharing with us at Color Dare.  Hope I have inspired you to come back and create for future Color Dare Challenges.

Photo 1 shows the box is twisted and the top portion should look like a funnel.  Photo 2 shows the funnel filled with more candy, or other gift.

There is also a You Tube tutorial on a smaller box using 8.5 x 11 cardstock by France Martin (Click Here) "Decorative Twisted Box".

This is The Outlawz June Monthly Freebie Progressive Challenge using the Digital from Beccy's Place "Gran's Chair".  Take a hop over to The Outlawz and see all the beautiful and different creations DT and entrants have created with this digital.  My inspiration for this card came from Heart2Heart June 27, 2016 Challenge "3D Delight".

Freebie Progress Challenge - the rules are very simple:  Join the challenge, send The Outlawz an email and then enter a project made with the image supplied before 6:00 pm Outlawz Time on the last day of the month. and as long as you enter before the end of the month you will get the next one free and then automatically each month you enter a project.

Home Sweet Home:  Keeping the card Clean and Simple because this card is all about fussy-cutting and emphasizing 3D dimension.  The coloring was done by a variety of colors with ShinHan alcohol-based pens, and then some Wink of Stella on the flowers and hat.

This photo shows an angled and closer view of the chair to show the variance of using 3D Thin and Regular Foam Tape, with the thinner tape at the back of the flowers and gradual increase to chair and hat. Printed 2 copies of the digital and fussy-cut the hat out of the 2nd print, colored and fussy-cut and layered on to of the original image.

The two photos below show where I also fussy-cut out a second floral bouquet and placed it under the original digital to have it appear as a cascade of flowers from the basket.

America "The Ties that Bind"

This card was created using the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #166, and combined with the theme from Heart2Heart Challenge "Ties that Bind".  I chose to do a patriotic card "America...ties that bind us together are stronger than those that would tear us apart". Please hop on over to these challenges to see the DT's inspirations, and you still have time to enter into either of these challenges.

Celebrate Your Day

This card was created using Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, and Heart2Heart Challenges using Calyso Paperpak and Birthday Celebration at Between the Folds.

I picked out a stamp set I was going to use (CTMH Puppy Stamp set) so my next step was to go to Cricut Design Space for a doghouse. After experimenting with the puppy stamp I wasn't happy with it so I sought out another puppy stamp, colored and fussy-cut. The Calypso paperpak had a blue design paper for sky and a green for the grass, and another blue stripe for the doghouse.

Since I was babysitting for my Grand fur-babies (Jack and Riley) I was able to go through my daughter's stash of dies and pick out some items to complete the scenery....I went crazy.

The little homescape strip along the back of the doghouse was so cute and thought it could be my strip from the sketch.  Added some foreground grass just for dimension.  For the bow in the sketch I placed a doggie bone in a dish and wrapped a glitter ribbon around it in celebration of a Birthday.  Dressed up the puppy with a glitter bow tie and added a cloud for the sentiment.

I chuckled as I looked at the card compared to the sketch and thought I went a little out of the box, but I was pleased with it anyway.

Day 8: I Lose My Freakin' Mind Over Spilled Coffee

I had used this image in one of the other Coffee Lovers BlogHops, and thought it would be a good image with a different sentiment...this is how I felt after being a Super Commenter to 810 creative and fantastic entries.

I'm DogSitting my Grand-Babies, Jack and Riley, so I was able to use a couple stamps from my daughter's stash to complete my card.  I'll be here for another day, so I'm off to raid her scrapping room and see what else I can create.

Day 8:  Let's Celebrate - 4th of July "Sun Tea":

Well, I wanted to do a Patriotic red, white and blue card for the 4th of July...and I think I accomplished that even with the Sunset color.  The sunset color reminds me of Peach Tea, so this would be my theme for the Coffee Lovers BlogHop.

I again started out with the wax paper technique and sponged the challenge colors on white cardstock; but I wanted the embossing to show up more so I ran it through the Cuddlebug one more time...loved the effect.  Stamped and printed my images, colored where necessary, fussy-cut and placed on the background with 3D Thin and Regular Foam Tape. Yummy colors...remind me of rainbow sherbert flavors.

Day 7:  Is Happiness In A Cup

I've had the crazy birds for quite some time but just didn't know what to do with them...but I told myself you have to use this for the Coffee BlogHop. I stamped, colored and fussy-cut Crazy Bird; but threw it in my stash and didn't pick it up again until I completed two other cards.  It's late this even; but I was determined this was my next card.

I did the fancy die-cut on my design paper because I saw how pretty it was on one of the other Coffee BlogHop Cards #569 (click here).

Crazy Bird needed a summer hat and since she appeared to be looking up I thought maybe I should make her a birdhouse...so off to Cricut Design Space.  I needed a pole or tree to set the birdhouse on...brainstorm, why not a stack of cups.  And the sentiment seemed just right.  After I got all my pieces I planned it out on the card and then adhered everything with 3D Thin and Regular Foam Tape.
