Emojis Party Time Invitation

This card was created for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #134...and my inspiration for this sketch came when I was on Facebook Messenger and looking for an Emoji.  I thought why not do an invite by iPhone for a Party.  How many of us use the iPhone for invites already?

One card, one photo...invite people on Text giving them the detail of the party (reason, date, time and place), attach photo and request an RSVP attaching their favorite Emoji. And if they don't have an iPhone, use Facebook Messenger...how clever is this?

Well, I thought it was clever until I was looking for images for iPhone and/or Emoji images.  There are stamps out there but had no time for delivery of stamps, so I went into Cricut Design Space and created my own through clipart images, designed and modified, printed and cut all in Design Space. A challenge for a challenge for sure.

Challenge #145 "Anything Goes" - Card 1 of 5

DL.Art November Linky Party
"Anything Goes" Random Draw

Phone:  Used clip art of iPhone, communication bubble, and a couple stamp sets, and imported them into Cricut Design Space, using Print and Cut capability.  Used "Add" Text for the Words and placed some in the bubbles and the others on Message screen, "Flattened", Printed and Cut, and then colored and added designed frame.

Emjoi:  Separated each of the Emjoi's from one of the clip art Stamp Sets from the previous Import, using the "Crop" for each Emoji, named, and saved each as a single image.  The Yes, No and Maybe Bubble and Emoji were put together with a Bubble and an Emoji, resized, printed, cut and glued to Black cardstock and then adhered to card.

Any Occasion Invite:  Because the card is so generic, if you want the Party to be identified on the front of this Card, simply pull the card into Paint Shop and add a text box on the bottom left-hand corner (Sample Below) and put the occasion.  Make a larger text box and you can include the Date, Time and Place.  Save as a separate image, and then when the next party comes up, pull in your first card and add new information for your next invite.  Isn't technology fun and it can still be personalized.

Another card that I got to see while it was still in pieces! In my opinion, this is a fabulous interpretation of a tricky sketch. Well done, dear friend, and good luck at AHSC this week.

Alyson, this would be a difficult card to share with any other challenges, but I'll take a look, maybe there is something out there, at least an "anything goes".
