Follow your Dreams

7/24/2016:  This card was turned into a Graduation Card for our Granddaughter's 2016 Graduation from High School in Angola, New York.  Made the triangle in the corner a pocket and included a blank check for her to determine how much she wanted me to make out the check...she had three choices.

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge..."We are looking for clean-lined creations but unlike Clean and Simple challenges, we encourage lots of detail and embellishments as long as they maintain a "clean" look to your card".  Wow, this is my kind of challenge...I always get caught up on Simple because I luv embellishments but still try to keep the card clean, so I think I fit in and hope I meet this challenge...

CTMH Paper Fundamentals Adventure is the cardstock used for the background of this card.  Cricut Explore Design Center was used for both the Hummingbird and the bunch of flowers.  Instead of using the many different colors of cardstock for the Hummingbird image (Art Nouveau Cartridge), all pieces are cut in white cardstock and colored with ShinHan pens.  The bunch of flowers (Anna's Garden Cards & Embellishments) were printed by the Cricut Explore Midnight Pen, and then colored with a variety of ShinHan pens and added Wink of Stella for a little sparkle and pearls added to the center of each flower.  A couple streams of red beads were added in the circle since Hummingbirds are attracted to red.  Sentiment was taken from CTMH CC1014 Pair-a-Phrase "Follow your dreams".  And to top off my embellishments, at each corner of the background hole-punch glitter was added with liquid glass, one of my favorite finishing embellishments.

Please go over to Freshly Made Sketches to see the Clean Team Designer's inspiration of this week's challenge, and the many other entries submitted...you'll need some time to view all the designs.

Beautiful use of the sketch! I love your use of the hummingbird wings and the flowers as the pennant elements of the sketch - it's lovely. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

So colorful! I like the way you used the beads and placed the sentiment.
